Introduction
My name is Khon Leang-Eng (ឃន លាងអេង), but in the outdoor community I am known as នារីចល័តចរ (Neary Chalat Chor). Since starting my journey, my mission has been to discover Cambodia's hidden forests and mountains, encouraging young Cambodians to appreciate domestic eco-tourism, local community development, and wildlife conservation.
As a filmmaker, I use cinematic storytelling to bring viewers deep into remote national parks, riverways, and indigenous villages. Through raw travel diaries, I capture not just the landscapes, but the culinary traditions and stories of the locals who guard these ecosystems.
I also host the docuseries Cambodian Eats!, which maps traditional recipes, community kitchens, and local foods across Cambodia's diverse provinces.
In an effort to support education and environment in local tourist hubs, I completed a challenging 250-kilometer trek over 15 days. The goal of this wilderness walk was to raise funds to build a library for the kids at Sala Doeum school inside Kirirom National Park, while raising awareness for local wildlife protection.
Responsible travel goes beyond leaving no trace—it is about actively giving back to the community hosts who keep these environments safe.
My Home Trails
Dense forest treks, wildlife corridors, and conservation filmmaking across Koh Kong and Pursat provinces.
Climbed dozens of times to capture the rolling pine grasslands, misty mornings, and sunrise clouds at the high plateau peak.
Exploring indigenous community trails, pine forests, and cooking traditional foods across Mondulkiri and Ratanakiri.

The Core Vision
Every journey is centered around the local communities. By highlighting local homestays, community fisheries, and eco-tourism projects, we channel tourism benefits directly to locals who protect the environment.
Through cinematic storytelling and raw adventure vlogs, I raise awareness about forest conservation, climate impact on riverways, and the critical importance of preserving our pristine national forests.
