Climbing the legendary rolling high-plateau pine grasslands sitting above the cloud layer.
Trail Directory
Features the famous rolling high grasslands plateau peaking at 1,175 meters where Koh Kong, Pursat, and Kampong Speu boundaries meet. The trail requires a steep mountain ridge hike of 12km through rocky terrain.
The lower paths ascend through dense tropical rainforests, which transition abruptly into open mountain pine forests and wide-open savannah grasslands at the high plateau.
Cold fresh water streams flow from the rocky outcrops below the peak, feeding the rivers of the lower valley and creating clean forest pools.
Trekkers hire local community guides from the Knâng Phsar Ecotourism Committee to navigate safely, hire camping porters, and directly support local livelihood initiatives.
