Trek Overview & Details

⛰️ The Mountains

Ascends through low highland hills and high volcanic plateaus. The terrain is covered in dense roots, requiring careful footing along the slopes of Virachey National Park.

🌳 The Forests

Stands out as a massive border forest system of primary wet evergreen canopy. Home to endangered gibbons, wild birds, and dense bamboo groves that make hammock camping a necessity.

💧 The Waterfalls

Features hidden forest springs and volcanic crater lake shores (like Yeak Laom Lake) that offer pristine swimming points and clean water basins.

👥 The Communities

Managed in collaboration with local indigenous communities (Kachok and Brao ethnic groups) who provide expert pathfinders and guide trekkers along border trails.
